I was running errands when Doug phoned me to say that Kirsten text’d him from school (a no-no but I’ll forgive her this time – thank goodness she didn’t get caught!) to tell him to tell me that she found out today that she won 1st place for the magazine sale and is going to Hawaii again next April!!!! I had to push her out the door this morning since she wanted to miss her first 2 classes cuz she didn’t feel that great but I made her go as one of her first classes is a bad one to miss (AP English). I bet she’s glad now she didn’t miss the announcement that she won!
I don’t have any details yet as she’s not home from school but I wanted to share the news!!!!
