MacKay Christmas Eve photo

Our tradition on Christmas Eve is to go to 4 PM Mass at the Catholic church we belong to (and where my two younger children attend school) then we come home for a traditional Polish meal. I took this photo using the self-timer on my camera just as we were leaving for church. It's in our new home in the living room in front of the main fireplace (there's another fireplace right behind it in our dining room). Can you believe those gorgeous hardwood floors were covered for over 30 years with carpet? They're happy to be out in the open again 😉 I had the living room (and the whole house) painted before we moved in in October – it's a mossy green in this room.
