Unfortunately, I had to make a sympathy card for an elderly Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority sister whose husband just passed away. Our sorority color is purple so I chose that color scheme for this very simple card that I partially CASEd off SCS. I stamped the sentiment crooked (or, rather, it is mounted on the wood crooked and I forgot to correct the angle) so I stamped it again on a piece of card stock, punched it out with the Key Tag Punch and adhered it to the place where the crooked sentiment was. I wanted to mount the white piece on something but I tried it the way it is in the photo and I actually liked it, white on white. It makes the sentiment more subtle so it does not "pop" out.

One thing I also did was stamp the image again after inking it with markers. I stamped it once, then stamped it a 2nd time to get the softer image. The background is a scrap of non-SU scrapbooking paper. the white horizontal line is just me folding the top over to expose the white on the back side of the scrapbooking paper. Sort of like a ribbon effect.
