Busy week. On Tuesday, Kendall turned 14. Her surprise was two tickets to see David Cook in concert on Aug. 21.
On our way to school, Kendall relaxes a moment on her 14th birthday.
After we return from a dinner out, we enjoy ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins.
Kendall opens her surprise gift.
Today, I was long overdue on a skirt I promised to sew her. Here's part of her modeling. She chose the fabric and pattern. I sewed.
While the sewing machine was out, I tackled a LONG overdue project. I bought this tote bag kit when Kirsten was in high school (probably 4 years ago). I used an old, ripped skirt that I was given when I worked at the high school and coordinating fabric in the school's red and gold colors. Oh, and that's SU ribbon on the bag too! Kendall now has a one-of-a-kind purse that matches her uniform skirt. So cool. She loved it!
