Today, Kendall started her freshman year of high school. She attends a private, all girls, college-prep school which will explain the uniform. Her elder sister graduated from the same school. The Campus Ministry dept gave all the freshmen custom made socks when they had their retreat last Friday. They had never done this before (so that's where our $1,100 per month is going, LOL!). All the girls were asked to wear them today.
Starting her day with a special treat (I don't ordinarily buy junk cereal) – Lucky Charms! Besides, they are magically delicious (don't tell anyone but I like them too!).
All packed up and ready to go!
There she goes!
OMG-flashback hell. Uniforms. Late 60’s. Hounds tooth skirts and the pleats were NOT stitched down. I had a big bootie and wasn’t even ethnic. We had white shirts and long sleeved sweaters even in the summer. Penny loafers. Blue ribbons only in hair and no jewelry. Pissed me off the guys could wear whatever they wanted other than blue jeans. Must have been we were so tempting make us look like nuns.
This is much cuter. I like the shoes. And the red shirt@
