Arrived in St. George, Utah (via a flight to Las Vegas) about 12:30 PM Wednesday. Upon checking in with Stampin' Up! in the gorgeous "Gathering Place", I proceeded to play a game which resulted in everyone receiving a beautiful new set which I am guessing will be in the Occasions Mini Catalog (brand new!). I hung out in the Gathering Place greeting old demonstrator friends, and making new ones (hooray!), as weary travelers trickled in all afternoon. I connected with special friends Robin Merriman, Patty Bennett, Denise Sullivan, and many, many others. Just like last year, SU had gobs of candies for us to nosh nonstop. Delicious!
At 7 PM we all gathered in a room so beautiful I can hardly describe it. The event theme focuses on blooming and growing so the room had a garden theme but in the classiest way you could imagine (lots of photos to share upon my return). I dined with Patty Bennett to my left, Denise Sullivan to my right along with 4 Canadian demos including my good buddy Caroline LeBel. Shelli greeted us and made us all feel very welcome.
After dinner was finished, the Rising Stars were meeting so I went to listen and support my downline, Sarah Wills, as she earned the Rising Star #2 spot this year. I learned a lot from these newer demonstrators! Then off to bed.
Had a lovely breakfast today with Josee Smuck of Canada. Right after Caroline and I went to take a My Digital Studio class. What an incredible new product! So easy and a zillion options for making cards, calendars and scrapbook albums. I was very impressed!
Went to my room and changed into a swimsuit, took some reading and just before going to the pool, I did part of my Make N Take then I made it outside for a few hours. The weather and pool water were perfect! Spent a lot of time chatting with Dawn Rapsas and Tammy (from Canada – cannot recall her last name!) then I was joined by Sarah Wills and Jackie Bolhuis and Dawn (a Rising Star from Canada). Great to meet new gals!
Had to be at the Olive Garden by 5:15 for 73 of us dining together. It was a lot of fun! Just got back and wandered around with Sarah and we found Shelli in the Gathering Place with her daughter Sara finishing their swaps. Found the hotel business center's computer and here I sit. As soon as I log off, going upstairs to my room to enjoy a movie and more reading. THIS IS SO RELAXING!!
What got me here was being Demonstrator of the Year, 15th Place. Who got me here? Probably YOU if you're one of my customers or downline. Thank you!!!
I have to say that Stampin' Up! is the most incredible company. Several of us were talking, today, about how it's impossible to describe how much this company and its staff cares about every demonstrator (business ones like me or someone just doing this for the discount). Everything is done first-class and every detail accounted for. It's an amazing company to be associated with. I'm so glad to be here!
Hey Stella! I am so glad that you are having such a great time! Soak it up girl and come back soon so that you can tell me all about it (with pictures!)
