This past Saturday I demonstrated the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine to a group of ladies who belong to the American Sewing Guild. The Big Shot easily cuts fabric and I was eager to share it with those who sew. I had a lot of fun as I learned something about sewing so it was a win-win for me.
The demonstration took place in Paradise, California which was precisely 98 miles from my home. I was eager to visit Paradise as I have never been there. The 2-hour drive in the early morning along somewhat rural roads (well, more rural than city roads!) was gorgeous! Upon entering the city limits on a slightly windy, hilly road, I just cracked up at their city sign. Read the line above the word Paradise. Very clever!
My friend Abi helped me prep for this demonstration and made these flowers using our exclusive Flower Folds die (pg. 201 IB&C). Rather than just have them laying out, I punched a little hole in a business card of mine and pinned it to the flower. Much easier to remember what I was demo'ing once the ladies all went their separate ways.
I was able to share these holiday flowers plus Abi's Christmas stocking that she was selling at a craft fair while I was at the demonstration. I have two photos to show both sides of the stocking plus a couple of close-ups.
Abi used the Flower Folds (pg. 201 IB&C) die for the flower on top and the Scallop Circle (pg. 199 IB&C) beneath.
Can you see how our Big Shot machine and exclusive dies can integrate into your fabric crafting project? The sky is the limit on your creativity!
