Hey there! Welcome to my blog where I am featuring 3 cards and 1 3-D item created using the all new Happy Moments set from Stampin' Up!s Sale-A-Bration brochure. From now through March, this (and all items in this brochure) may be earned free with every $50 purchase. What better way to whet your appetite for all of our Sale-A-Bration offerings than for you to see them "in action."

My blog is 2nd on this tour sponsored by the wonderful Stampin' Addicts linked to here. You likely just arrived from Heather's blog linked to here and featuring her artistry with Vintage Labels – weren't her creations inspiring? Once you're done here, I'll link you to the next stop with Barbara – that'll be at the end of this post.

By the way, if you want to bookmark my blog now, please go right ahead. I'll wait 😉

As we have a limit of 4 photos and there were 4 primary images in this set, I was determined to use each one (what a novel idea!).

My first card features the birdcage and is a CASE from a card I saw on the display board at last week's Leadership Conference. Note how I was able to cut the Designer Series Paper on each side to mirror the other. I love elegant and simple cards. Oh, and what is that brown clip doing at the bottom of the card's center? Holding it closed while I photograph it. That card was very risque and it kept flapping open, LOL! Naughty card!

Recipes and dimensions of all cuts and scores (but not my hips) will be on this blog on Tuesday, January 19.

Moving along, I totally switched gears with much more vivid colors and the birthday cake image. Note that the photo makes the candles look blurry but they don't look like that in real life! I enjoyed using a different type of "fold" with my ribbon. And can you see the dots on the Green Galore background? Subtle but it really adds something.

Next, shhhh…. this is an outer wrap for a gift for my daughter's 20th birthday in February using the stack of gifts image. I may put a gift card or cash in it as it's a flat tin the size a CD case. The choice of colors and Designer Series Paper is no accident. My daughter attends the University of Alabama (Roll tide!) and their fabric is black and white houndstooth while their main color is crimson red. I had to use it for her gift as she'll love it. The whole center piece is a belly band and slips right off.

Lastly, I tried something a little more old-fashioned while featuring the flowers image. I learned how to make the eyelet trim while at Leadership. Duh, so easy, why didn't I think of it? Maybe because my Crimper has dust on it. It doesn't any more!

Thanks for stopping by. As my reward, I am offering some non-edible Blog Candy in the form of a brand new, hot-off-the-assembly-line Stampin' Up! reusable shopping bag that I just got last week (photo in upper right column). Super exclusive and too stinkin' cute! All you have to do is leave me a (friendly 😉 comment below and on Tuesday I'll use the handy-dandy Randomizer.org site and choose 1 lucky winner for the Stampin' Up! bag.

Moving right along, please hop on over to visit Barbara Welch (who has amazing hair by the way). Her interpretations of the same set (Happy Moments) are found by clicking here.
