Today was a very wide-open day. Most demonstrators got on a bus at 8 AM for a 2-hour drive to Kanab – our manufacturing plant. I was not feeling confident enough in my health to risk going and I am glad I didn't. I love going and I think it's important but I have to conserve energy and I did feel sort of "off" today as my cancer treatments just ended a few days ago and the side effects do linger for a few more weeks.

Lazily meandered down to breakfast after 8 AM and just sat there over 2 hours chatting with demos coming in and out. Then connected with Patty Bennett, Joann Weimers, Kelly Acheson and Sandy Hancock and we did our Make N Takes together. So fun to stamp. Due to my illness I have not stamped in many weeks – felt great!! We made a darling box, a set of 3 mini cards and the cutest card with our "'Create A Cupcake" set and "Build-A-Cupcake" punch.

Time for lunch so Joann suggested Cafe Rio – delicious! The hotel is awesome in that we just tell them we need a ride and they have a shuttle take us anywhere. I had the driver bring me back to the hotel as I was feeling weird then the others went to the mall (whimper, whimper – I had to miss it).

Rested for a bit then went to this really neat restaurant called Anasazi where we cooked our own food on a rock heated to over 700 degrees! I had shrimp and scallops. Super unique and fun! Dined with Patty Bennett, Ruth Bingle, Kristyne Brandt, Joey Pogorel, Debbie Moczek, Sandy Hancock and Wendy Fassbender.

Got back to the hotel, came to my room & found pillow gift #2. Oh my gosh… a GORGEOUS Simply Adorned charm & necklace HANDMADE BY OUR CEO SHELLI GARDNER! She put inserts on both sides and it is just so beautiful. You'll see photos when I get home from Advisory Board Sept 22.

After that fun gift, I got in my jammies and turned in for the night. Another great day with my Stampin' Up! buddies 🙂
