I'm co-hosting a bridal shower/tea this weekend. One of my tasks is place cards and table cards with the names of the tea items we'll be serving. The shower will be in my friend's home and she's rented all the tables, chairs, tablecloths, dishes, etc… I asked her what one color she'd choose as an accent as there's really no color theme and she said "garden green" (to go with the topiary centerpieces), literally. She's no stamper so she wouldn't know that Stampin' Up! has a color named "Garden Green". What are the chances?! Of course, I said "hmmm… let me see if I have that color", LOL!

So, my very simple place cards have a tiny pop of Garden Green. I printed all the guests names using Stampin' Up! card stock and my home printer. I then punched out the names using our Decorative Label punch (#120907) then punched again in Garden Green. Snip the green one in half, trim off the center pointy pieces and simply adhere the white to the green. I embellished with a Basic Rhinestone (#119246) then popped it off the base card with 2 Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I was finished in minutes.

What do you think? These are the place cards for the 3 hostesses and the mother of the groom. We're all college roommates who met in 1979! The bride and groom met at our university. How's that for coming full circle?

And here's mine all by itself.
