I am swapping about 120 cards and I get bored making the same one card so I split the general idea into two very similar cards. The first one was posted here on my blog dated July 17. This is my second one. As I mentioned yesterday, "clean and simple" stamping is my preference when making a whole lot of cards at once. These can be so easily customized with your favorite colors plus the Flower Shop set has 6 similar flowers so you can make at least 6 different cards just be switching out the one main image. Maximized the value of that one set to be sure.
Love the new hostess set Express Yourself. Gobs of sentiments in a very pretty font.
Want to know how I got the woodgrain to be two-toned? Ridiculously easy – ink the "front" side of a Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder by stamping the pad itself onto the plastic folder then sort of sliding it in one direction to verify ink is everywhere.. just keep inking it gently till you think it's in all the places you need it to, put card stock in to folder and run through Big Shot. It comes out so the ink fills in the recessed parts of the embossed image. I made 50 of these in no time at all. You can do this any of your embossing folders. When done, I just rinsed the folder at the kitchen sink, patted dry then air dried with it open. I know, easy!
