Ralph Waldo Emerson said "no member of a crew is praised for the rugged individuality of his rowing" and so it is with blog hops which are simply linking a group of stampers who have interpreted a common theme to create one string of inspiration. None of is rowing alone. Rather, the Stamper's Dozen group of 13 Stampin' Up! demonstrators is all in this one boat paddling towards the goal of sharing 13+ unique ideas based on a common theme once per month. Welcome aboard!
I'm really excited as I needed a fresh focus for my stamping & to get out of a rut (you too?). Please come back again on the 15th of every month. We are scheduled with fun and timely themes through 2014.
You should have come to my blog from the ever-so-lovely and delightful Laura Milligan's blog where you saw her stunning "Swallowtail" {butterfly} card. (If the link attached to the cute cupcake image takes you nowhere, please use the link attached to Laura's name above and Carol's name below.)
Here is my interpretation of the theme "Go for the Gold." My apologies for the photo as I had a real challenge getting a shot where the gold didn't look brown. I think this will give you an idea though . . .
