This month's theme, Home of the Brave, feels so poignant to me, personally, as though I have never been in the military my Dad fought in WWII where he was wounded in action. As a child, I remember seeing the wound on his arm (a bullet went through his arm near his elbow) and thinking how incredibly brave my father must have been when he was only about 18 or 19. He was not an American at that time but he was at the time of his death and for about 40 years prior. I made this card in honor of my Dad not only for his military service but for also being brave to relocate his family to America to seek a better life for all of us.
Details on products used will be in tomorrow's blog post.

Lovely card! Our soldiers are such heroes, and you are right. They are incredibly brave! I’m thankful for your dad’s service.
