The clock is ticking on THREE Stampin’ Up! opportunities

Around this time, for years, Stampin’ Up! has its biggest annual promotion and it is called Sale-A-Bration or SAB. SAB has three parts which, to my ears, sounds like “something for everyone.” It ends March 31. Here are the three parts with a brief description:

  1. For every $50 in product you put in your shopping cart, you may choose 1 absolutely FREE item out of a specially designed set of products and, just announced, a few regular products out of a current catalog. Some items are earned free with a minimum $100 order. You choose. All you have to do to get something free is make sure you have $50 of product in your cart.
  2. If you go for the gusto and fill your cart with $250 or more, then you get a bonus $25 in more free product that is 100% your choice. That is a bonus to the host rewards you’d already qualify for. For example, a $250 order earns 10% more free ($25) so when you add the bonus that ends March 31, that’d be $50!
  3. Instead of being a shopper, the 3rd option is to be a happier shopper by buying the Starter Kit and the 20% product discount that begins after you buy it. The Starter Kit is $99+ tax. It ships FREE. You put $125 (not a penny more) of absolutely anything you want in your cart PLUS, through March 31, you add ANY 2 stamp sets of your choice. Those sets could be to about a $101 value. No risk. No parties. No strings.

The new and long-awaited exclusive Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Trimmer is here!

Click on the arrow to watch a 4 1/2 minute video on this new product.

Introducing the new and improved Stampin' Trimmer! Although paper
trimmers are a common crafting tool, this trimmer was designed
exclusively by paper crafters for paper crafters-and because it was made
by Stampin' Up!, you know it's a cut above the rest!

Features of the All-New Stampin' Trimmer

  • An extra-wide 6-1/4" cutting base and an extended 14-1/2" ruler
    • The extra-wide cutting base provides a large work area and is marked
in 1/4" (4 mm) increments, allowing for small measurements.
    • The right-side grid helps you measure and cut very thin strips.
    • The extended cutting arm has a stabilizing leg to provide a sturdy and steady cutting surface for longer cuts.
    • When fully extended, the extended cutting arm sits flush with the
trimmer base, providing more accurate and consistent measurements across
      the entire surface.
    • The cutting base and track include a full ruler, incorporating
measurements down to 1/16" and grid lines that mark each quarter inch.
    • All rulers and measurements on the base are printed under a plastic cover so your measurements won't wear off.
    • The base has nonskid feet, which keeps the Stampin' Trimmer securely in place on your work area.
  • A full 12" cutting and scoring track
    • The extra-long cutting track has space at the top and bottom so you
don't have to take the cutting and scoring blades out when you're not
      using them.
    • The track gives you enough space to cut or score a full 12" (30.5 cm) without having to remove or switch out handles.
    • The cutting track locks in place for secure storage or transport.
    • The track includes an insertion point for cutting and scoring blade
handles so you can easily insert handles into the cutting track.
  • Specially designed handles and cutting track to ensure straight cuts
    • The hook on the scoring and cutting blade handles keeps the handles stable so the cuts are as straight as possible.
    • Handles come in two colors: dark for cutting, light for scoring.
    • The precision tip on the cutting blade allows you to pinpoint precisely where you're cutting.
    • The point on the side of each handle shows you where the blade will
cut, making it easy to see exactly where your cuts and scores will
  • Storage compartment under base
    • The storage compartment holds scoring and cutting tools such as a
Bone Folder, Simply Scored Stylus, extra scoring and cutting blades, and
      even business cards.
    • Separate compartments within the storage compartment keep your tools
organized, and the clear cover makes it easy to see what you've stored.
  • Product details: item 126889; $29.95

12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas = Week 1 Thank you (panel) cards

THANK YOU CARDS using a "panel card" format
(this card does not open – you can make 4 out of every 8.4" x 11" piece of card stock)

What could be easier, more economical and faster than putting these thank you's together for your own use or to give as a holiday gift to a coworker, teacher, aunt, neighbor, friend, etc… ??? You can tie them up with a ribbon and include envelopes for a lovely gift. And don't forget to stamp the envelope using the same image as the one you used on the card.

Using Winter Post, here are some samples I made this weekend:

Here are some using Punch Pals:

Here is a list of supplies I used:

  • Designer Series Paper (or DSP): Deck the Halls (pg. 18 Holiday Mini – Item #120810, $9.95). Note – to choose colors of coordinating card stock & ink to use, see the description for the DSP as it lists the colors used in making the paper. I chose 3 (Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede and Always Artichoke).
  • Card stock: Cherry Cobbler (#119685); Soft Suede (#115318); Always Artichoke (#105119). All $6.95 for 24 sheets.
  • Card stock: Whisper White (#100730) or you can use Very Vanilla (#101650). Both $8.50 for 40 sheets.
  • Ink: Cherry Cobbler (#119669); Soft Suede (#115657); Always Artichoke (#105219). All $5.95 each.
  • Stamp set/s: You may use any holiday themed one you have or the ones I chose are:
    • Winter Post (#111780, $26.95)
    • Punch Pals (#116588, $32.95)

Dimensions of the 3 layers of paper/card stock:

  • Bottom layer (solid card stock): 5.5" x 4.25"
  • Middle layer (Designer Series Paper): 5.25" x 4"
  • Top layer (to write and stamp on): 5" x 3.75"

You can make the cards horizontal or vertical. You can stamp the same image in different places on the card stock making the cards similar yet different (like I've done with the snowflake image above). So many options and so easy-peasy!
