Happy Halloween the Stampin’ Up! way
Gosh it feels good to stamp again after my illness! I created a simple but (I think) cute Halloween greeting that I sent to a few customers as order thank you notes and all my 1st level downline. Because I was making a lot of them (90?), I had to keep it simple and with few embellishments. I'd rather send a more plain card to more recipients than a blingy card to fewer. And I did not copy this idea — thought of it myself!
I used two base colors of card stock as I started with Old Olive then ran out: Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz.
Stamped focal point with From the Crypt (love this image!).
Put a rhinestone in spiders legs as though he were holding it.
Sponged edges with Old Olive.
Bottom Designer Series Paper is a huge obsession with me right now – it's from our new Designer Series Paper Stacks that have every color we have in a 12 x 12 paper. I can't get enough of that as I love matchy-matchy and tone-on-tone sorts of color schemes.
Oh, and I used Teeny Tiny Wishes and my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for the greeting (I really love the SAMJ too – made accurate placement of the greeting a snap!).
Sorta odd to say for a Halloween card but, "in person", I think this card looks elegant!
