What is the “tip jar”?

Did you notice the "tip jar" on my homepage? What is it? Well, I’ve never been in food service or any service industry where I earned tips but I noticed that other gals have a tip jar to defray the cost of maintaining this blog. My fee for this blogsite is about $148 annually. My goal is to donate 50% of whatever I collect quarterly to charity even if I don’t end up covering the annual cost. So, the tip jar is there if you ever feel so inclined!
