I think the new Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog is one of the best in years prompting me to buy almost everything in it. But one stamp set really pulled at my heart strings and it feels like a craft version of "comfort food" and that is Holiday Home (pg. 16) I just love the little houses and all the cute little holiday-themed accent images. If I had to choose one favorite out of this new catalog, this set and the coordinating dies, would be it.
When considering this month's "Spook-tacular" theme for this blog hop, I wanted to make my spooky Halloween a little more subtle. I had a blast watching college football while coloring in the houses with our Blendabilities. This is a simple card and it just made me smile.
The little pumpkin comes with a smiley face. I used a journaling pen to create an additional scared face.
And it wouldn't be Halloween without a little ghost popping out of the chimney.
